OLMAN RECEIVES OHIO MANUFACTURER’S ASSOCIATION ENDORSEMENT

MAUMEE - State Representative Lynn Olman has received another key endorsement today for his campaign, this time coming from the Ohio Manufacturers’ Association (OMA).

“Our goal is to help the most qualified candidate who shares our view of a strong manufacturing economy,” said OMA President Eric Burkland. “With today’s endorsement, we’ve taken an important step in accomplishing that goal. Lynn Olman supports the issues that are important to Ohio manufacturers and their employees and holds our belief that a strong manufacturing sector leads to a healthy economy, good jobs and improved quality of life for all Ohioans.”

Candidate endorsements are made by the OMA board of directors based on a variety of information including records, responses to a candidate and member support in the district.

“Ohio’s manufacturers create one quarter of the value of all the products, and over one third of the wages and salaries that benefit our state’s economy,” said Representative Olman. “It is important to work with these issues in order to continue strengthening our economy.”

Lynn Olman is seeking his 5th term in the Ohio House representing the newly created 46th District, formerly the 51st. He has been a public official since his early days and was a member and president of Maumee City Council for fifteen years.

The OMA is a volunteer driven organization of more than 2,200 large-,medium- and small-sized member companies that serves as the voice of manufacturers in the Ohio General Assembly and before state regulatory agencies. The OMA is dedicated to providing services to members that enable them to work together to create a global competitive advantage for manufacturing in Ohio, establishing opportunity for all Ohio businesses to succeed, and for all Ohioans to enhance their quality of life.
